(More customer reviews)I set out to buy my husband an awesome digital watch. There are lots of them out there, but most of them are ugly and have a style reminiscent of the 1980s. I wanted something presentable and functional. He wanted a digital watch with a few extra tricks. This watch seems to fit the bill perfectly.
In person the watch looks more substantial than it did in the picture, and I couldn't be more pleased about that! It feels like a very solid watch, weighty without being too heavy.
The strap is rubber, but not the cheap watch rubber with sharp or ragged biting edges. Indeed, this strap adds a finished casual feel to the watch.
The watch face is big and squarish, with buttons on either side lending perfect symmetry to the design. The button labeled "Mode" will walk users through the features. I found the design very intuitive, which will undoubtedly delight my husband. Those features I mentioned: Alarm Clock, stop watch, Clock (complete with date, day of the week, and time), Timer, Recall (for reviewing clocked runs).
My one and only complaint, and the reason the rating is a 4 star and not 5 is that the lighting on the clock is very dim. Even with the backlight button pressed it is not the easiest watch to read. The numbers are large though, so I doubt he'll have any trouble at all.
I expect we will both be very happy with this watch for many years to come!
