I was really tired of looking at the cheap plastic ones... this one is modeled after the more athletic digital watches. I was a little disappointed initally at the size of the face; it's larger than a womans watch, but smaller than a mans watch. But the easy large buttons and the thick plastic are perfect for a child who hasn't mastered telling time. I'd recommend it!
