(More customer reviews)My first attempt at purchasing a watch for my wife resulted in the return of a very attractive, but completely impractical, Fossil watch. She is completely happy, however, with the Ironman. The white resin band is attractive and gives it a bit of a different look than other sport watches. If it's anything like other Ironmans I've owned over the years it should be very durable under any and all conditions.
The watch is very easy to read and has more functions than my wife, or most people for that matter, will need or use. The alarm function is very useful, as is the back-light feature and the 2 time zone capability. Also, like other Ironmans, the resin watchband is not replaceable, so plan on using the watch until if falls apart (hopefully a few years) and then purchasing another.
