(More customer reviews)I was so excited to receive my Luminox watch after reading a number of good reviews.I truly expected the luminosity to blow me away - after all, they advertise that their micro-gas technology is 100x brighter than 'standard' glow watches.Wow is that not true.
The technology is ok (nice that it doesn't need any exposure to light for sure) but there is so little material for their micro-gas that you can barely see the dial at night.It is visible but I'll tell you, my Omega with supposed inferior technology glows far, far brighter if it's exposed to a few seconds of light.I'd say the Omega is on the order of 5-10x brighter and I expected the exact opposite.
Major disappointment, to be honest.I really was expecting something much better since luminous dials and markers is the Luminox claim to fame.Either tone down the salesmanship or use a lot more luminous material and charge a few bucks more.
