(More customer reviews)I had looked at several Swiss-made sport watches, including Victorinox, before choosing this one. I made the decision based on the fact that it was water resistant to 660 feet, twice the depth of the others. I also liked the fact that it had a screw-down stem, making it even more water resistant.
For the record, I don't dive at all, and have no intentions of ever doing so. I rarely swim, either, but I am active and I like water-resistant watches. I needed one with the rotating bezel - I use it to time my laundry, believe it or not!
Unfortunately, I had worn this watch for only a FEW HOURS before it developed moisture condensation under the crystal! I have cheap Timex watches that don't do that! Not only that, the closest I had been to water was just washing my hands at the kitchen sink. I had NOT been in the rain, the pool, the shower... nada.
In short, this watch.... FAILED. Right from the start.
Moreover, it was HUGE - it looked more like a man's watch (but the men's watches are 7mm larger in diameter). I'm a tall, larger-than-average woman, but even so I had to have three links removed from the bracelet.
Forget Hanowa. I'm going to Victorinox.
