I was looking for a watch without a calendar function and this was the only watch I could find that fit the bill and looked good to me. The ring of gold around the pearl face can get scratched so if fine scratches might annoy you then either be ready to buff out the scratches or look elsewhere. Oh, and if you're allergic to a certain type of metal this watch will be kind to you since the bracelet and watch back are stainless steel, that was another thing that I was looking for in a watch. You're money would be well spent on this timepiece.
