Unfortunately I could not find any brick and mortar stores (in New Jersey) to sample police watches but I took a chance on this watch. I was certainly not disappointed. The is a nice fit to my collection. First I noticed the glass on the watch is slightly bubbled. Not too extreme to look tacky but (elegantly) slight enough to add to its uniqueness and overall appeal.The white in the hands of the watch is very pronounced against its black dial background making it easy to see the time (which is great for someone like me with less than perfect vision). By the way the hands are also luminous making them easy to see at night or in darkness. The bezel is professionally crafted and has appropriate size lettering and numbering on it. Additionally, the chronograph aspect of the watch makes it "not boring." The stainless steel bracelet fits perfectly with the watch itself and sits very nicely on my wrist (very similar to my Tag Heuer bracelet). The diameter of the watch is in my opinion perfectly sized making the watch look...for lack of a better word..."manly" and "high end" but not at all overbearing. The movement is quartz ( I assume its Japanese quartz) but it runs very nicely (although I am used to swiss quartz movements).The watch also carries a nice weight but nothing over the top. Lastly, I just love how the "police" logo sits right about the "3" oclock position. If you are in law enforcement, I thinks the watch is a nice timepiece to have for anyone who is "on-the-job." I dont think the picture provided does it justice.I have had it for about a week now and is working fine so take that for what its worth. After purchasing the watch for $240.00 I can honestly say I think the watch is worth the price offered. Hope this helps anyone contemplating a purchase of the watch. I would recommend it.
