(More customer reviews)This is a somewhat unusual watch, and it has some major positives, and some major negatives.
The titanium material and slim profile are great - the watch is feather-light, and will easily go through airport security screening without causing the metal detector to beep.In general, at least for my sense of minimalist aesthetics, it is a sharp-looking watch, except:
1)It is SMALL.Small enough that this men's watch will look to most people like you forgot your watch and borrowed your wife's or your sister's.Still, given the watch's other positive attributes, I decided I would just get used to wearing a pseudo-women's watch until:
2)A few days after it arrived, it stopped working altogether.Now, it is possible that it may simply be a dead battery, but I am not going to pay to find out.Even if it is just the battery, what sort of quality company ships a watch with only a few days' worth of battery life?And of course it may be something more serious.The watch is headed back to Amazon.
It is also worth noting that the minimalist design extends to the date setting.This is one of those very obnoxious watches with which if it is 14th, and the watch says it is the 15th, you have to spend minutes fiddling with the crown to run it forward 720 hours - so this is not a good watch to own if you even cross the international date line eastbound.
I really wanted this watch to work out, because I do like the simple design - but I will have to go looking for something similar that is better engineered and manufactured.
